upgrade rotors/pads

ok, my rotors and pads need some replacements. im a normal driver and just use my car for driving to work and out to town. i want some replacements that are as good as or slightly better than stock. any recommendations? also not wanting to blow TOO much on this either.

I was in the same boat about a month ago. I went with Brembo blanks and Hawk performance ceramics all around. I bought everything from TireRack.com, but I later found the Hawk ceramics for about $6-$7 cheaper at WS6store.com.

I went with the ceramics because I didn't want any noise, and the minimal dusty is a bonus.

Just FYI, ceramics are harder on rotors.

For your car and the use you described, you would probably be good with a replacement rotor from AutoZone, Pep Boys, etc. Complement that with some Hawk HPS pads as an upgrade.
