U/L control arm bushings and ball joints

Which wears out the quickest, upper, lower or is there no difference? Seems like I remember that one was worse but I can't remember which one.

The front lower control bushings, followed by the lower ball joint will be the first to go. Then the upper ball joint, and the upper control arm bushings.

Thanks. I just picked up a set of 1LE lower control arm bushings on the cheap and looks like they will be the first needed.

No problem. Here's a pic of the LCA vertical bushing after 70k miles of relatively conservative driving and my new 1LE LCA one.

With my new setup, it not only handles better, it rides better too. It should have come from the factory like this...IMHO

Where did you get the 1LE bushings? Are they the MOOG replacement parts?

I bought them on EBAY and they aren't here yet so I don't really know who made them or if they are GM new/old stock. Does GM even make them anymore? I know they quit making the 1LE springs because I tried to buy some new and finally managed to find somebody who had a set they wanted to sell.

Let me know how they work out. I am looking for new bushings and want to get the 1LE bushings. I'd be interested to hear how easy/hard it is to press out the old and press in the new ones.

They finally came in and are marked "Harris" so I guess they are not a Moog part. I think they are the real deal as the rubber is quite hard. I won't be installing for a while so the jury isn't in on how they work yet.

Well good luck once they're on!
