I have the spohn, very high quality
You may want to call first...took me a very long time to get mine, I have heard the UMI is very nice also..never seen one first hand.

Other than those 2 brands I would not go with anything else

bmr is nice, but i just dont have the $ now to do the upper and lowers, i believe that you need to use bmr's lower a arms as the stock ones wont work
is this true?

On a street car, I've seen both the Spohn and BMR crack at the weld of the leading tube for the upper mounts. The daily abuse of pot holes, speed bumps and city ******* seem to take their toll.

UMI asked for feedback on this issue and added some reinforcement.

Here is some interesting reading about aftermarket K-Members ...

UMI is the only K-Member I would even consider.

i used umi kmember with bmr aarms and they dont mix!!! the front mount on the bmr a-arms slides around, untill the point where i tighten it so much that the suspension doesnt even travel anymore. You can say i am making it up, but im not. I have a set of UMI adjustable a-arms on the way so i can use the rod ends on both the front and the back. i have been working on this front suspension for forever and am now over 2 grand into it with different parts and such... i am not having fun

I went with an AJE k-member. I like the design because it moves the crossmember forward. This makes it possible to get the oil pan off the engine, if the need ever arises. The welds are great, and the fit is good. I had a few questions about the k-member and their manual rack when I installed it, and they were very helpful in both e-mail responses and on the phone.
The balance of my suspension is Spohn. Spohn is also now making k-members for 4th gens. Their quality is also top notch.

I typically jack the front of my car up from the middle of stock K-member, can you do that on these aftermarket ones....I believe UMI is the only one with the second tube running across.

I would recommend the UMI K-Member. It probably fits the best out of all the ones we have used. It also has the seconday tubing that makes it a very strong piece;even for street applications.
