Trouble with lower A arm....

I am trying to strip everything off so I can install my UMI Kmember and upper/lower control arms when they get here. I am having trouble removing the bolt that holds the lower control arm on. The bolt that runs horizontal(frontside) was no problem... after I removed the steering. The bolt that sits vertical is a PITA. The bushing is really in bad shape. I am afraid the bolt may be bent from the bushing being in such bad shape.
I tried a floor jack to break it free but it lifted the car up in the air off the jackstands.
Has anyone else ever ran into this? Am I missing something here?(yes, I removed the nut) I may have to cut the head off and drive it out but would like a little input from others before I do that.

I had the exact same problem on my 95 Z. I ended up taking a grinder to the bolt and bushing. That thing would not budge for anything...

I soaked the bolt/bushing with WD-40 for two days, smacked the crap out of it with a hammer and even tried a puller. Nothing worked. Bypass all of that and just get to grinding.

If you are replacing the K-member and A-arms with UMI tubular, why even bother with removing the A-arm from the K-member?
