For those of you who changed your Torque Arm....

were you able to do it while the car was on ramps and/or jack stands? Or did you have to have it on a list for clearance issues?

I'm getting a "thumping" right in the transmission tunnel area and I think it is caused from the Torque Arm and/or rubber bushing. I figure if I'm going to jack it up to see if the rubber is worn or if there is a problem with the Torque Arm I might as well change it out.

I welcome any and all feedback from anyone that has been in the same boat I am in.

Thanks in advance.

on the floor with jack stands f+r with the rear ones under the car not the rear end but jack under the rear cover to keep the rear from rotating up

changing it means not stock replacement right?

Yep! Aftermarket. I was thinking a BMR unit. I was hoping to get away with a Non-Adjustable unit even though my car is lowered.

Any thoughts?

Not only get an adjustable one, get a chassis mounted TA. If your lowered, your pinion angle is most likely off.
