Tring to build the best Street setup.
Tring to build the best Street setup.
This will be based on a 93-97 LT1
Im not worred about comfort I want a street car that handles like it should.
Will eventually autocross the car.
Ways im thinking
Shocks: Bilisten (non-SLP)
Springs: Was thinking BMR due to its only a 1" drop and 100 pound spring rate increase.
Sway Bars: Not totally sure, want them matched to the springs correctly. I see that lmperformance has energy susension 35 front for 159 that just don't seem right. I was thinking a 32/19 with polys, but maybe a 35/21 not sure yet.
Sumbframes: Boxed no biggie
LCA:Was thinking a bmr, poly/rubber combo
Pandrod: BMR adjustable with poly bushings
Torque arm: probally just put a poly on there, until power is increased
I got my 17 Inch Konig and my Nitoo 555 so thats covered.
Wasn't gong to worry about relocation brackets due to the car only a inch lower with the bmr.
Ok guys make suggetions, and help me finish what I have started! Thanks

Re: Tring to build the best Street setup.
Sounds all wrong to me, more like a drag setup.
I don't think autoX people have a very high opinion of BMR.
Talk to Sam Strano Jr at Strano parts.
For some background go to FRRAX.com
