tired of bouncy ride

What kind of shocks would you recommend for a street/strip car. car is currently daily driver but in the future will probably see 5k miles a year. The ride is way to rough right now and i was wondering if i get a softer set will it affect the drag performance? any suggestions on brands or specific shocks?

softer = less spring control = more bounce

Yeah..what he said. Not sure what you mean by you have a rough ride and it's bouncy. Anywhoo, you can try Bilsteins for daily driving. I have them, and they are "rough"...meaning opposite of bouncing. So if you have bad roads in your area, you'll feel every bump and pebble. But at high speeds...say 120...on smooth pavement, Bilsteins and very tight and handle great...so I hear. Very solid and feels like the car is very controllable.

sorry, what i meant was a stiff ride because every little pothole causes my car to try bounce out of the lane. i dont expect it to ride like a cadillac just wanted a softer ride w/out affecting the drag performance.

i have Qa1 adjustable shocks and you can set them as soft or firm as you want. There 12 way adjustable. You can set them for the street then at the track u can reset them to help you hook up better. The fronts are also a coil over system and you can lower the car in the front a little to give the car a better stance. THere not the cheapest things but there fun to have.
