Question ???Thinking about lowering my car: Questions

Would the 1le panhard bar be an improvement over stock? or is it just the same bar with harder bushings? If the drop is only 1.5" in front and 1" in back do I need an adjustable panhard rod and relocation brackets?

Would a torque arm help on the street? I won't be going to the track. Should I get an adjustable one or not?

I am also thinking of replacing all of the bushings in the suspension with oem but cannot find part #'s for them? Help?

Was also wondering if all of the above parts would make a nice improvement if I decide not to lower the car?

First, you will need the adj PHB if you're lowering the car. I've just realised the driveability problems from goin a while w/ out adjusting it. What spring kit are you looking at?

If you don't go to the track, the TA is not really necissary. But if you do hard driving/street racing you could possibly mess the stocker up. I switched mine out w/ 21k miles on the car and the bolt holes were already oval out.

As for the OEM P#'s, I have a sticky w/ a buttload of P#'s in there. It's in the LS1/6/2/7 tech room. -try there. What about http://www.classicindustries.com/

The panhard bar stiffens side motion of the car a bit. Not an exravegant emprovment, but it helps. THe TA helps by a better transfer of power. It gets ride of some...'sponge' in the transfer. THe only way I can explain it.

I'd advise doing shox w/ the springs. Then you'll really notice it......You'll be in there anyway. If you need some install help check my cardomain link in my sig. I have a write up on page two or three.
