torqe arm mounting

on a third gen the torqe arm mounts to transmission right. the tranny that is going in is a th400 so my question is where do i mount the T/A???
any help would be apreciated.

You need an aftermarket torque arm that mounts to the cross-member rather than the tranny tailshaft. Spohn Performance makes one for installing the TH400 in the 3rd Gens, which integrates the tranny cross-member and TA mount:

If you are looking for something more basic, Hurst makes a complete kit that allows the use of a stock (or stock type aftermarket unit) torque-arm. See it Here.

thanks that hurst kit is exactally what i was looking for, i saw the spohn thing but it is just to expensive. and i dont think i will have enough hp to bother with aftermarket torque arm.
