Sway bar links

Hello,

I'm looking to replace the front sway bar links on my 1999 Camaro SS. Does anyone know of a good place to find the right ones? I looked and the only place that has some is this placed called "Hawks Third Generation". They have some for $16.99 which seems like a fair price.

Also does anyone know the exact length of the sleeve for this link? I tried to measure it but it's a little difficult to get the exact measurement when it's still on the car.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Energy Suspension makes end link kits, with poly bushings. Get the one that's closest in length to the ones on your car. They probably have an application chart with part #'s on their website.

How exact do I have to be in regards to the length of the sleeve for the link? Is it ok if the length of the link is a little bit longer, say by a 1/4 to 1/2 an inch?

Any endlink you buy for the stock bars will probably come with the correct sleeve. Energy suspension carries polyurethane links; PST carries polygraphite links; and you should be able to purchase a new set of 1LE links from any GM dealer.

if the original link components are in good shape but the bushings are worn, energy suspension also sells just replacement bushings, so u can reuse your original sleeve, bolt and nut, i think their bushings come with washers

you can go to any parts store to get the energy suspension stuff, its not going to be the same exact size but anything slightly smaller or bigger realy shouldnt be a big deal

and if you buy a sway bar link kit specifically designed for your car then it shuld have the proper size bolt and sleeve
