Sway bar endlink torque specs?

Sway bar endlink torque specs?
ANyone know the torque specs on a sway bar end links? I have a knocking type sound coming form the right front when i go over bumps. tap the brakes kinda hard and i can feel something give just a bit.

I have self-locking oval nuts and I'm sure it takes more than 17 lb ft just to turn the nut.
I installed a new sway bar last night and the front of the car feels a bit like it's on it's tippy toes. Think I should back the nuts off a couple turns?
