Sway bar bushing lube question...

What kind of lube do you use for stock rubber sway bar bushings. They squeak like mad when it's cold, and it's driving me nuts.

I am not sure but I bet if you went to Autozone or NAPA they'd have something. I just used what came with my Energy Suspension kit.

Most people use a petroleum based grease but Jeg's (I think) sells a specific lubricant just for poly bushings. I hear normal petroleum products can break-down poly bushings. It should work well for rubber bushings also.

You'll probably find that the poly bushings will get worn from suspension movement to the point where they should be replaced before petroleum based lubes will break it down. Now, if the car is a garage queen, you may have to worry about it.
