Suspension Torque

How imperative is it that everything is torque'd correctly? I just found out that my torque wrench is not accurate, and i am mid-way through the front suspension? Its most likely over torqued...but i cant be sure.

Re: Suspension Torque

How far off is it? If you overtorque too far you could damage the bolt.

Re: Suspension Torque

mmm... that's probably not good. Get the wrench calibrated to find out how bad it is. You may want to replace a lot of hardware if it's as bad as it sounds. Overstretched bolts lose a lot of strength... but you can keep your fingers crossed that maybe that bolt was a dud (unlikely but you never know).
