Suspension Swap - Front 1" higher than rear?!?!

About 2 months ago I swapped out the suspension on my car for the SLP #70002 kit, which according to SLP is the correct stock replacement for my car. (Bilstein Level II)

Anyways, it seemed too high in the front but I kinda figured that the front should settle and the rear wont. I've put about 100 mi on my car since then and it doesn't seem to have settled. The car is at my mom's house so I don't have any measurements on me, but when I first put the car back on the ground it was approx. 28.25" from the ground to the top of the center wheel well. From what I've seen it should approx 27.3 - 27.4" so almost an inch too high.

I'm really stumped as to whats wrong. The car had Sportlines on it before and I had my buddy disassemble my old struts and reassemble my new ones. Any suggestions / help would be GREATLY appreciated, I'm a bit depressed at how it looks currently. I'm half tempted to put my sportlines back in.

Spoke with SLP, they said if you reverse the lower spring seat it will cause ~ 1" lift. Double checked my car to ensure that wasn't the issue.

Had a pretty knowledgable mechanic who specializes in LT1's look at it and he said everything looked to be installed correctly (we didn't put the car in the air or remove the tires) and he thought that maybe the springs were for a LS1 and the different spring rate caused it. SLP has them listed for 93-2002 f-bodys and multiple times on the phone with SLP they've confirmed that it is the factory bilstein level II suspension replacement for my car.

Unsure where to go from here.

Definitely looks like way too much junk in that trunk.

I think the LS springs are softer so wouldn't that have the opposite effect and lower the front?

The factory manual (1995) has a trim height spec at page 3-26 which varies based on tire and suspension that should be the start point. What I can find on searching is the 70002 springs are 1/2 inch lower than stock? While the front looks a little high in the photos, it looks to me like the rear is much lower than stock, certainly more than the 1/2 inch the slp 70002 springs should be. Are the rear springs matched to the fronts? Are the insulators installed on the rear?

Yes, they were uninstalled when I bought it and I reinstalled them when I replaced the springs/shocks in the rear.

The rear is right on where it should be based on what I've seen online. Ground to top of the wheel well should be about 27.3" which is right about what it's at in the rear.

Hmmmmmmm. Well, the pictures you sent look correctly installed to me so I am now guessing as to maybes... Have you done any significant weight loss on the front end, a/c delete, etc that might have shaved some weight off? Also could be the springs they sent you were bad/incorrect?

I really haven't had the time to check everything out throughly, but I'm fairly certain everything is right. I'll be taking some different measurements and checking the part # on the shocks/springs (if I can) when I'm back home for Thanksgiving.

No significant weight loss. Pretty stock... 52mm TB, Longtube Headers, !AIR, !EGR, offroad y-pipe, thats about it. Other than that it's pretty much a fully loaded SS (leather, etc.)

Something is definitely not right. That looks like a 4X4.

I've got the sportlines that we previously on it but it will bottom out on the longtubes if I'm not careful and I want it at a more stock stance. I've been away at school most of the time since putting the suspension on (finished it up right at the end of the summer, like 5 days before I left for school) and I haven't had time to work on it.

Hopefully I can take a peak around and gather some more intel in the ~4 days I'm home for thanksgiving.
