Exclamation suspension/chassis parts and their durability

Ok, which components on the V6 cars can be retained when swapping in a V8? Common sense would tell me the front springs/struts may not hold up to the additional weight as well as the sway bars might prove inadequate as well. Our Camaro will become an Autocross/Open track car that will still be registered and street driven. I haven't started tearing into her yet as I want to make calculated moves instead of making a mess.

Springs are probably different, the parts manual shows 7 different part numbers for front springs.

You don't want to autocross with the stock swaybars and shocks anyway

But I think the rest of the suspension is probably the same on V6s and V8s
