Sup-Frame Install

How big are the bolts to that hold the front ends of the rear lower controll arms? And is it ok to remove those bolts without supporting the controll arms?

I don't remember the size of the bolts (3/4" - 7/8" or something) but you can remove them without supporting the LCA. Just put jack stands under the rear diff and do one side at a time. If you remove both LCAs it can be difficult to get the rear lined up again when reinstalling them.

Re: Sup-Frame Install

putting jack stands under the rear and unbolting the control arms is a BAD idea!! you must support the chassis with the stands, then use a jack to support the rear while removing the arms
