Sub-frame connectors

Ok, so I know SFC's are necessary, but how long till you will see effects of not having them. I have an 02 SS, with 24K on it. Is there a way of checking to see if im going to have a problem soon with paint cracking or dimples (by the way, were do the dimples form)? Who makes the best SFC's?

I have a 96 and just started seeing dimples. It is the first suspension mod that anyone should make. Go ahead and do it.

DD's are the best, but I don't recommend them due to the interference with aftermarket exhaust and torque arms. Get some boxed BMR's. They probably only take away 1/2" of ground clearance. You can get tubulars, if clearance is a premium.

dEPENDS ON how harsh you drive your car. I drive really hard so I started to hear the rattles squeaks at 13-14k. I put the subframes in and it all stopped. Well worth the $150. Best mod on the car.

Why not do them? It is a cheap, cost-effective mod. BMR boxed all the way!

SLP DD all the way.

Seach SFC and you will see 1000's of threads about them, and why they are good.

I installed DDs and a G load brace and they have been one of the best mods I ever did. I am running true duals as well but to be honest my exhuast ends just before the center connection of the DDs.

I have BMR Tubulars and the car feels like a totally different ride, especially going over railroad crossings and bumpy roads.

I remember someone stating that the 98+ years did not need SFC's as bad as the 93-97's did.... something about the two body's connected at different places. Of course, I'm sure you'd still see a little bit of a difference.

How much should I expect to pay to get them welded in by someone?
