I know that weld in is better, but of these two, which is stronger?

The standard weld in version will work just fine.

The two-points will be more then suitable. They worked wonders for my car.

Maybe they are okay but I'm not really digging the way they did the front ends on that first set.

Thought the same thing. Was wondering how much crap would get inside the tubes since they're open.

Re: Which style subframe connector?

number 2 is a much stronger unit. it's triangulated versus tieing 2 points together.

i have the slp subframes and they're too much actually. i can lift the whole side of the car and put jack stands down in front and rear with one jack....they're beefy. i welded them in and bolted them in (actaually the other way around???...bolted then welded)

Re: Which style subframe connector?

I actually had an interesting experience w/ SFC's recently. I suppose I can share here. I have the 2 pt BMR tubular SFC's. I jacked up the LR to do a lug stud. I had my t-tops in at the time and watched the gap in the rear of my driver's side t-top get smaller! I thought my top was going to break. -Like the frame was still flexing. If I could do it all over again, I would have gone w/ the double diamonds. Much stronger...

Again, my experience and my opinion.

More points = stronger, but also heavier.
