Hi I am new here. I have just bought a beautiful 93 350 Camaro and the parking brake light stays on. I have been looking for the switch but not yet found also can anyone suggest other possibilities. Also the odometer has just stopped working though the speedo still going. Possibilities? Thank you

Re: Stubi

Here is what the brake switch looks like. It is just above the pedal. The connector with two wires goes to the brake lights.

You might have a mechanical issue with the odometer. The cluster would need to be removed to investigate.

Re: Stubi

If it is the parking brake, that switch is in the console on the parking brake assembly, isn't it?

Re: Stubi

LOL, I missed the "parking" part. Oops.

If the brake light is on, it could also indicate a pressure imbalance in the system. Pressing real hard on the brake pedal can reset the pressure switch, if all is ok. You might hear a click when it resets.
