Strut changing difficulty scale of 1-10?
I am going to change my front struts this coming weekend, how hard is it and what tools will I need to do the job? I am going from stock to bilstien. All tips for doing this are welcome

Its not that hard. Before doing my suspension work, the biggest job I did was change the oil
You will need basic ratchet set/wrenches and a spring compressor.
Tips:
-make sure you paint an alignment mark on the assembly prior to decompressing the spring
-it sounds a bit ****, but I like to chase the theads of any nut/bolt that im reusing. replace any that look suspect and use antiseize.
-your upper strut mount maybe rusted. paint it with POR-15 and cover the upper shock bolt with grease so that the nut will be easier to remove in the future
