stranos front sway bar

ive done a search and didnt realy find an answer.....i have a 32 mm bmr front sway bar and a 21 mm ILE rear sway....i was looking into getting sams hollow 35 mm front bar.....the question is... is 35 front 21 rear a good set up......i know that sam sells the 35/22 combo..... can i stick with the 21 mm rear bar, and will this set up give me a good handling car?.

Yes it will.

See before sam's bar the popluar choices was the 19 or 21 in the rear. Well everybody used to be using the soild 35mm and adding the 21(a lot based how what you like) was the right combo. The front is still bigger its not like stock 30 and 21(dont' like that setup) Sams 22mm hollow is virtually like the solid 21mm in terms of stiffness its just his is light thats why its 1mm to make that up.

So that setup would be fine. And a good balance.

Thanks

Re: stranos front sway bar

Pretty well said.... Anyone who has a 21mm solid rear--I tell them they have the same stiffness as my 22mm hollow. It's heavier, and because it's bolted to the axle, it's unsprung weight, but balance wise it's fine. The thing is folks often find they can sell a solid 21 for half or more of price difference between just a hollow 35mm front, and the full set. In short, they can use the sale of a solid 21 to get a hollow 22 after selling the old bar.

Again, a solid 21 is fine in terms of stiffness. If you don't want to change, don't change.

And because of the rate of a solid 21 vs. a hollow 22, my front bar is a fine match for either.
