What kind of pads did you use?

Certain pads are squeaky based on the material that is used. Typically the ones that say produce less dust (ceramic), are noisy.

Try the VGX pads. They claim that they dont squeak, and they dont. Ive had them on my vert for years after having enough of the squeaky GM pads.

I've been using the Hawk pads, and i don't have any problems with them.

Hey Artic, what kind of pads did you use on the rear?

Re: squeaky brakes

I have Hawk pads too. (2nd set) and the rears always squeak under light braking (like stop and go), which I do a lot of. Anyone figure this out yet?

Before you go changing your new pads . Try spraying or painting the back of the pads with with brake anti squeal. Make sure u hit all the contact points.
