Squeaking Noise Going over Bumps and while Turning.
Squeaking Noise Going over Bumps and while Turning.
It's been getting worse over the past year. If I'm sitting still and turn all the way to the left or right, it squeaks near the extremes. Other than that, I notice when I'm backing out of the driveway that it starts to squeak and seems to go along with up and down movement. I'm not sure why it would make the same kind of noise while turning the steering wheel to the extremes and while the chassis experiences up/down travel.
I'm sure one of you suspension specialists know what the heck is going on here. My wife uses the car as a daily driver with a 40mi/day commute so I'm pretty concerned.
Thanks.

Most all of the factory front end joints are "lubed for life" and have no grease fittings. Anything that has been replaced may have grease fittings. Otherwise, it may be time for some replacement work to be done. Sway bar bushings would be one thing you could take apart and grease.
