Sportline/Pro Kit?

I know there is about a 1/2 in difference between the pro kit and the sporline springs but is this a noticable difference on the car? A half inch doesnt seem like much but im sure that it is. Which do most of you run? I read a few posts and from what i can gather im going to get a pretty bouncy ride with the sportlines and pretty crappy handling aswell. Any suggestions?

if you want a horribel ride and hit everyting on the road, buy the sport lines...the pro kit rides much better, hadnles great and has more clearence. i had the sportlines in for a month and then sold them on ebay to buy a prokit.

But they're both prone to settle in the rear making it set lower.

i have the sportlines, i love the way the car sits, it handles well becuase the sportlines have a higher springrate than the pro-kit. it does sit extremely low and you will scrape the cat over some speedbumps, and the front air splitter takes a beating, but mine is still in pretty good shap.

but i swap my rear springs out when i take it to the track for weight transfer.

No, the Prokit has more spring rate up front:
Eibach V8 Prokit 93-97 377-600 front 94-160 rear 1.30"
Eibach V8 Prokit 98-02 400 front 80-137 rear 1.25"
Eibach Sportline 360 front 80-137 rear 1.6" / 1.4"

Uless you're comparing to the V6 prokits.

The soft springs in the rear of the sportlines coupled with the too short spring causes the sportlines to hit the bumpstops making for poor ride quality. Eibach didn't do their research where f-bodies are concerned.

Look at Hotchkis.
