Sound making right turns when car is cold...
Maybe someone can point me in the right direction here...
When my car is cold, when I make a right turn, I hear noise coming from the front right, almost a rubbing sound/grrr... sound. When the car warms up it goes away.... Some time back a mechanic said he though there might be some bad seals on my linkage/steering (offered to fix it for 900, but I opted out to look at it myself). The sound has gotten worse as the weather has gotten warmer.
Can anyone maybe point me in the right direction regarding what to check? Steering works fine (easy to turn wheel both ways), just this annoying sound when I make a right turn. There are no fluids leaking (driveway clean at least).
BTW, thanks to people who answered my questions in the past, this board has saved me thousands!
