Question SLP Rear Bump Stop Spacer Dimensions

Does anyone know the specific dimensions of the SLP spacers pictured below? I will be making a set of spacers and and would really appreciate if anyone that knows could provide any information. The most critical dimensions will be the step and the overall thickness.

Thanks!
Jordan

Why are you adding spacers?

My OEM bump stops are destroyed and I am having issues with my ZR1 wheels rubbing on the fender lip. I trimmed the lip but still would like to limit travel, especially since the car is pretty low (approximately 1.75" below stock).

The only thing is when is sits down on the stops, it's gonna ride like a slammed Datsun pickup.

Re: SLP Rear Bump Stop Spacer Dimensions

Stopping the rear of the car from moving up and down, defeating the purpose of the suspension isn't the way to solve the problems.

What width/offest wheels are you running in the back? What tires - brand and size?

Does it rub on the innner fender lip on both sides, or only on one? Have you tried rolling the lip upward? Under exactly what circumstances does it rub?

I'm running some meaty 315/35-17 BFG Drag Radials on my 17x11.0" 50mm offset ZR1 wheels, and the only time the fender lip would rub was when I would throw a totally abussive shift with the McLeod Street Twin. I just rolled it up and the problem went away. The rear of the car has been recentered over the rear axle, using an adjustable panhard rod.

Re: SLP Rear Bump Stop Spacer Dimensions

The wheels are GM ZR1's on all four corners. The tires are Kumho 712's that I had on my 97 SS and they never rubbed (the car did sit ~3/4" higher than this 93 does).

As I said in my second reply, I did trim both lips so the rubbing is no longer an issue. The issue now is the axle slams into the body without any bump stops. I also re-centered the axle with an adjustable panhard bar.

I guess my question to you Injuneer is what would you suggest I do for the bump stops? Would you cut away the lip on the car and mount the bump stop flush? Should I have a spacer made that equals the 5/8" difference in height from the stock bump stop to the ES bump stops that I have so that the final distance from the axle to the bump stop is identical to an OEM configuration?
