shocks for a 1" drop

did a search, yada yada yada, didn't find anything helpful

I'm getting the BRM sp01 springs cuz i'm only gonna drop 1".

I want to get some affordable shocks that are a good match for these springs. What do you recommend? Also, i heard the KYB shocks are crap and to stay away from them.

I would definitely stay away from the KYBs. Maybe try some revalved Bilsteins. Try to get in touch with Sam Strano, one of the vendors on this site, he should get you set up.

what should i expect to pay for some good shocks. Not looking for crazy incredible shocks, just some affordable ones that do the job well.

standard bilstein HDs would probably work for you...albeit not the best setup. but they can be had for about $350 i think

the revalves are well into the $450 range

probably the best choice would be Koni SA...but you're looking at $700+ i think.
