To shock or not to shock
I have a 1995 Firebird with about 103,000 miles on it. It appears to have the original Bilstein shocks on it. Pushing down on a corner of the car it seems stiff and will stop bouncing up and down quickly. However it bottoms out easily and has poor directional control when hitting bumps. I am thinking new shocks. Comments?
I'm sure it would benefit from new shocks in the near future. Whether it important right away is up to you.
Mine's starting to bounce a bit when you hit bumps on the highway, so I'd like to replace mine soon but it's still not a huge priority because I only put 2k miles on my car last year.
I have ~152k miles on my '97 SS (stock SS shocks, sportline springs in the front)
