SFC and rollbar install

I picked up an 84 Z28 to use as a track only car. I will be installing some sub-frame connectors and an 8 point rollbar. There is no motor or tranny in the car right now. Will I have to set a motor and trans in the car before I have the SFC and rollbar installed? Thanks for the info.

Re: SFC and rollbar install

You'll be just fine installing it as is, just be sure when installing the sfc the car is equally loaded on all 4 tires so there is no chance for body twisting from using a jack or only 2 jack stands.
