roll bar dilema!

im putting a wolfe roll bar in my 95 Z28, the car runs11.50's and faster, i dont plan on keeping the car forever, but i do need to put a roll bar in it to run at the track this year. my dilema is whether or not to get chromoly (which i know is the best) or get the mild steel. i mean whats the real benifit to chromoly? if i was keeping the car it wouldnt hesitate at getting the chromoly, but im having trouble justifying spending twice as much on a chromoly bar over a mild steel. oh and if its that the chromoly is stiffer i already have full length subframe connectors on the car. help me solve my dilema!!!

You'll probably see a reduction of up to 35-40# with chrome moly on an 8-point bar.

Steel = mig weld

Chrome= tig weld

big diff in cost to weld and skill needed. Both will work well..go steel if you plan to sell.
