Road Course suspension, need some help 01 vert.
As the subject implies.
Car is an 01 Convertible LS1.
Has a 6 Point roll bar welded in.
Has Bilstein shocks.
Has Strano 35mm front and 22mm rear sway bars.
Has KBDD subframe connectors.
Has Wilwood 6 piston brakes up front.
It is still quite rolly polly in the corners. I know its a heavy pig of a car, but it sure is fun.
I'm wondering if anyone has gone further in the suspension department and what they did and what worked, how well ... etc.
thx

stiffer springs??
maybe some weight reduction to reduce the amount of mass that has to be thrown around in each corner.

If you are getting lots of roll even with the Strano bars, you will more than likely need to get some stiffer springs to get that under control.
If you head on over to frrax.com, there is a fellow there with a 4th gen Camaro vert that tracks his car; I believe his screen name is EuginioSS. He might be able to answer convertible-specific questions for you. Good luck.

thx, I did go over to frrax.com and came away with 1LE springs and the Koni SA shocks on the lower perch.
That might stiffen things up a bit without ruining the ride quality.
thx

Drop the ride height a bit and install stiffer springs with properly revalved shocks...
ride quality... we don't need no stinkin ride quality!
