Replaced Wheel Bearings - Alignment?

I replaced my wheel bearings last week and was wondering if I should have the car re-aligned. It feels like it's fine, but I was just wondering with my pounding the old hubs off if I should have the alignment checked/adjusted.

I believe my car may still be under warranty for alignment.

Shouldn't be necessary. You'd REALLY have to hammer (into a curb! ) your hub to affect the alignment .

If the car still feels fine, then you're good. The bearing alone doesn't change the alignment whatsoever .

Figured it wouldn't be off much but it took a couple good knocks with a sledge to bust the hubs off. I put some grease on it in case I go through another set of wheel bearings.

What kind of grease? Will there be any chance of getting the brakes hot enough to cause it to creep onto the rotor surface?

How would grease applied in behind the hub flange get onto the rotors?! Seriously!!

..... unless he put gobs and gobs of it on, but "assuming" a small enough amount just to act as a barrier against rusting between the hub and the spindle? Probably safe .

I rubbed it on thinly then dipped a rag in gasoline and rubbed along the edges to ensure nothing would make its way to the rotors.
