Question Removing Rear Springs Question

Need you help guys.

I've never removed the rear spring on my 2000 LS1. At the current moment I am upgrading goldline drop springs. I am in the process of removing my shocks, lower control arms and panhard bar. These will be upgraded too

What do I need to do to remove the rear springs? Sorry for the dumb question but I rather ask than spending the entire day trying to figure it out.

Do I need spring compressors?

Thanks.
