Re: rear lower controll arms

He he he.....i broke just about every wrench i had on suspension bolts---good thing they are CRAFSTMAN

I break everything i use though......i twisted off 1/2" extension and broke a 1/2" socket once getting off lug nuts......and that was just with a normal torque wrench. Watch out for those sway bar mounts on the front too....i broke like 2 sockets on them too......i was like "ah maybe that was just a bad socket"....put the pipe on and bam number 2....lol. I get the heat out now everytime i have a tough bolt. I think i just am unlucky or something....

If they are really bad heat the nut up on the backside.

Re: rear lower controll arms

You shouldn't have a problem. My '95 has just over 50K on it and has seen very little salt. I have no problem taking bolts out w/ a little WD on them. All of mine are now standard sized Grade 8 bolts. The wrenches will bust before the bolts.
On the other hand, I worked on a '94 that was a daily driver and snapped the head off every bolt I tried. Good thing the hardware store is just around the corner.
