Question rear lower control bars from Lakewood?

Has any body used them?
They look good too.
I just don't like the yellow bushings but I don't think you would see much of them.

Now I love BMR Fabrication.
But you can't beet the price $90 bucks.

Thanks,

Chris.

had them for a couple years now. Nothing bad to say about them. Seem to be good quality.

Re: rear lower control bars from Lakewood?

I ran lakewoods on my '86 for awhile, then my old '94 inherited them and a lakewood panhard rod.

When I wrecked it a few months ago, I spun it sideways and caught a control arm on a curb, flipping my car. After looking at the control arm after the wreck, the welds were still as nice as new with no fractures, even though the control arm bent at hardest way I know, up and to the right at the same place (and these are boxed). The opposite arm was perfect. The panhard bent at a 45% angle and the threads in the adjustable side still worked fine. It tore the rearend up (bent the axle tube and tore the mount in half on the axle) before the panhard and LCA's even gave way.

So to me, lakewoods are fine. Cant beat em for the price. They're going on my new car now.

Re: rear lower control bars from Lakewood?

I've got the control arms and panhard bar that I used on my 89 GTA and getting ready to put on my 95 Z28....they did wonders on my GTA. I put the rear quarter into a wall and neither were messed up. The wreck didn't even bend my frame...not sure if it was the arms or just the way I hit, but it was a nasty result.
