rear Control arm bushings

well i bought prothane bushings for my rear control arms. (lower) are they hard to replace? or is it simple just unbolt them off the car and replace bushings then re-install control arm. I hope its nothing like the front control arm bushings.
Cause im using poly...do i need to reuse any parts/casings to get them back in there?

Re: rear Control arm bushings

i have not changed the bushings on my 3rd gen but i did change the lower control arms and they came with new poly bushings already in

i can tell u the bolts are a little tricky to get to and to make it easier dont use wd 40, use liquid wrench, 10x better

i believe they are 18 mm bolts, i used a boxed end wrench on one side and let it hold itself against the chassis while i used a breaker bar on the other side, but u have limited clearance so deep sockets and adapters wont help you, just the wrench and the socket, and not everyone has a 1/2 drive 18mm shallow socket

Post up the after results with the poly bushing.

I upgraded to poly bushing for my stock torque arm and it made a noticable difference, car felt more stable and seemed more stable while going faster.
