If you have a rattle up front when going over bumps it might be a loose nut on top of the shock/spring assembly. I had my shocks and springs swapped out by a machine shop and after putting back on the car I had a rattle from the front right. I pulled the assembly back off and the nut was indeed loose. Tightened up and now the rattle is gone.

Just a tip for anyone with the problem or anyone who might be replacing their front shocks and springs. Make sure you get that nut tight!
