question about struts and shocks

I was wondering if its worth putting kyb adjustable struts on the front and drag shocks on the rear. My car is lowered with eibach 1.8 inch drop. I was just wondering if it would actually get my car to launch,or do I have to raise it back up. THanks guys.....ITs got heads and cam and all the yummy bolt ons with a t-56.right now im launching with a 1.94 60ft w/DR i want better

With response like that it will get you no where in the help department. But here's my 2 cents. If this is a daily driver then no on the drag shocks. What else have you done to your suspension beside lowering the car with eibach springs?

Re: question about struts and shocks

Some of these forms on the board are not heavily populated. That's why a lot of people post on the LT1 tech....cause not too many people look here. That's probably why no one has responded. Also not many are worried about suspension....they are still looking for what CAI to get or exhaust.

No idea how that set-up would work. You should be able to cut a faster 1.94 with the right tire. It might help a little, but it doesn't sound like shocks are going to do much for you right now. Also depends on if you want to stand it up on the back wheels or want to keep it down, whether raising or lowering is proper.

Re: question about struts and shocks

If it's a drag car Qa1 shocks all the way around would be the best probably. If it's a street car bilisteins re-valved. You really can't have both just decide what your going to do with the car.

By the way guys are cutting 1.5's on stock rear shocks.
