QA1 single adjustable fronts, settings?

OK, so I ordered QA1 single adjustables from the board classifides, well they just arived, and I need to prepare for installing this weekend. I guess I need to read up on the install now...

I have read however that you guys mention different settings like 6 or 4 and so on, but the dial just has a + and -, can I assume the minus is 1 and the lightest setting and + going stiffer? I haven't played with them or anything just unpacked, inspected, and took pics (with the cat wanting to help inspect the new parts)...

Now the detail shots.

6 or 4 means the amount of clicks from the low setting (the - ). Toward the + is stiffer.
