QA1 R Shocks and Springs
QA1 R Shocks and Springs
How is this shock on a daily driven vehicle. My car was set up more for road racing with Koni SA shocks on the front and Bilstein shocks in the rear. I have since gotten into Drag Racing. This is still a daily driven car but probably a little extreme - I'll be running a stroker with AFR heads so I should be in the 11's anyways, ran a 12.09 with previous heads/cam stock bottom end. At any rate I'm just wondering if it might be a better choice to go with the other QA1 adjustable shocks. Just be interested in some experienced opinions.
Re: QA1 R Shocks and Springs
I ran the QA1 adjustable shocks on all 4 corners, QA1 drag springs in the front and the handling was poor in the corners and harsh on the bumps. They'll really for drag racing.
Re: QA1 R Shocks and Springs
How harsh and how bad in the corners. I mean did it feel unsafe to drive or did it just not handle as well as a stock Z. I don't mind it being a little "sloppy", but if I have to slow down to five miles an hour for every corner that's another story.
Re: QA1 R Shocks and Springs
I've looked at these shocks and it appears that they don't allow for ride height adjustment like the QA1 OED7855P, it appears that you can only adjust rebound. Comments??
