QA1 12 way adjustable or "R" series - what's the difference?

Car is mainly setup for bracket racing - does see street duty but is no longer my daily driver.

What's the big difference between the 12 ways and the "R" series? I'm going to run the 275lb front springs - will the 12 ways compensate for the somewhat soft spring rate and allow me to hit the streets?

Will the "R" shocks and 275lb's be too much for the street?

I'm not an autocrosser or exit ramp champ by far. I still will take the car across town and possibly even make a 60 mile roundtrip jaunt to work.

Keep in mind the car is not a DD and is being setup for drag racing.

Thanks
