Power Steering Pump Rebuild

Has anyone here done a reseal on a power steering pump? I have a 96 Camaro 3.8 V6. The power steering pump as always had a slow leak since I bought it with 110,000 miles. Just recently the leak has gotten worse where some is being slung off on to the exhaust and smoking occasionally. The car has 281,600 miles but the pump is still strong, just leaks. At the moment I have negitive dollars (reason why I still have a car with almost 300,000 miles) so paying $10 for a seal kit versus $70 for a reman pump looks good.

My question is how difficult is resealing it? Do I need any special tools? Any problems I may run into?
