1997 firebird formula lt1 . just bought a new power steering pump. the fluid that came out of the new pump was red , the old fluid thats in car is clear like. what fluid do i use and are the 2 compatable? do i have to flush system or flush pump

 

I just use atf. If it feels gritty I would flush the system.
