Popping in front wheel

I've got an 02 z28 that has starting popping in the right front, and feels like I'm running something over when I have the wheel all the way to the left when backing up, or all the way to the right when going forward. I thought maybe it was a balljoint so I replaced ball joints and tie rods on both sides, and it's still doing it. I've been told it could be the strut mount since the passenger one rusts so bad, and mine is rusted up top to where you can't even see the nut. Could this be my problem, or could it be something completely different? Everything is stock up front.
