pop noise when i turn slowly...

I can hear a pop noise whenever I'm turning slowly, like 1-5 mph slow. And sometimes even when im braking, usually in the 5mph to 0mph range, right before the car stops. My sisters car did this a while back and she had to replace the front axle. Anyone have any idea what this could be?

The popping noise could be your front calipers hitting the brake houseing. This happens sometimes with cars and they sell a shim kit to stop the loud clip you here when you stop.

i had something similar happen on my 91 rs, and it ended up being a broken sway bar end link.

When I install my LCA's panhard bar, and relos this weekend I'll take a look at my front sway bar and other areas that could be broken. Probably something easily fixed..
