Please help: TREMBLING!

I am really having a problem with my car.
first of all, its a 95 3.4l and its getting wheel hop..out the hole...and when im drifting through corners....

its not just wheel hop, the entire car shakes uncontrollably!!!

2.) between 35-45 the steering wheel shakes from left to right, but the car stays straight.

however, at 60-70 (which has become top speed) the damn car begins to shake to a point where my face hurts!

what could it be? i have a friend that insists it is the bushings....

can someone explain this to me?
thanks

I doubt if bushings would cause this, and what bushings would your firend be talking about? Ther are 8 bushings on the front end.

Have you hit anything lately?

Check the following:

1) Run your hands around the front tires and check for bumps / lumps in the side wall and tread. The tire may have bubbled / separated on you.

2). Check all front lug nuts.

3). Jack up the front of the car and attempt to shake the tire in and out at top and bottom. If you have play, it could be a wheel bearing or ball joint.

4) If you havent found a problem yet, get the front tires blanced and ask them to watch and see if the wheels are bent or problems with the tires.

5) Warped brake rotors can cause this if they are bad enough. Does the problem get better with the brakes on?

My best guess is a bent wheel or a bad tire.

Do not continue to drive the car this way, if you can't check it. You need to have a good mechanic look it over.

Another idea, take it in for a safety inspection, if your state requires them. They should check most of the front end and if you feel it this bad they should spot something.
