Ok to lower car without doing panhard bar and LCA's first?
Ok to lower car without doing panhard bar and LCA's first?
I was thinking about starting the suspension upgrades on the camaro.
I was going to start with springs, swaybars and shocks. Is this a good place to start or should I do the panhard bar(adjustable), LCA's, and relocation brackets first then go with the springs?
Since im still in school and on a budget I was thinking about trying to find used koni's and swaybars, then a set of BMR springs since they only drop 1", but im open to sugestions and feedback

You'll want to replace your springs and shocks at the same time as it's the same labor (need to remove the springs to replace the shocks). The LCA's and panhard can come later. You also might want to look at LCA relocation brackets to address wheel hop that will increase with a lower car.

Cool, that is what I was thinking, just didnt know if not having the adjustable panhard bar and the relocation brackets would be a big deal
thanks, now the search for cheap parts begins

Just to let you know, if you do lower that car at all, your going to need an adj panhard bar to align the rear wheels in the wheel wells. Because as you lower the car, the body will shift to the right, and you well need that bar to pull the body over.

The adjustable PHB is a good tool to dial in your side to side alignment of your tires to the body. If you're not running 17X11 rims, you don't have to have the APHB in order to lower your car. I'm running 17X9.5 rims with a non-adjustable tubular PHB and Eibachs and didn't have an issue. If I was to purchase another PHB it would be adjustable.
