Not sure whats wrong..ball joint? hub?

My car makes a strange noise when taking off and stopping a lot of the time. It is a moaning/grinding type noise and comes from the right front area of the car. (or so it seems like anyways) The car also recently started being wierd to steer. When turning right sometimes the wheel will feel as if I am at full lock when I have only slightly turned the wheel. Then it will free back up. Sometimes it does this when trying to straighten it back up as well. The problem seems to be getting worse as now I can just be sitting in the driveway and move the steering wheel back and forth and the wheel feels clunky in some spots. I do not think it is power steering related as I have plenty of fluid and I don't hear any whining or other strange noises coming from the pump.

Anyone have a clue? I guess I'll just have to crawl under the car and see what I can find.
