noises under chassis

Hi there. ever since i bought my 1998 Z28 3 months back, i keep hearing sqeaks and cracks whenever i drive over uneven ground (slow of course). The previous owner too had experienced the same & he had it checked properly - under body, chassis, suspension etc by a mechanic, but he was told that there is nothing wrong down there. Is there anyone else having the same concern with their camaro? Is it normal for a car thats done 137000 km ? Thanks in advance.

Mine is also doing the same. Mine only has 54k miles on it though. It sounds like something is loose but I can't find out what it is. I even hung out of my car door while driving to find out exactly where the noise was coming from. It's coming from the rear end but I have no idea what it is. It drives fine on turns and everything it just makes noise.

Re: noises under chassis

Hi there. Quite strange as the chassis & suspension are factory assembled and fastened, despite which the sounds. I guess we have to keep driving without letting it bother us. No normal car that I've been in has ever given these concerns. I guess we would have to as this from a GM technician either through forums or hotlines etc...
