3 mods, money for 2. lcas, torque arm, rlb
3 mods, money for 2. lcas, torque arm, rlb
Multiple track runs have proved it, stock suspension needs help. I've made a habit of running low, low 13s on my nittos. When I try to launch hard they still grip great but wheelhop is insane.I'm looking into 3 mods but can only really buy 2 right now. Lower control arms, Relocation brackets, and Torque arm. Which 2 should I buy to reduce this wheelhop and grab some 12s. thanx Nick

Injuneer says he knows people in the 10's with the stock tq arm bar. Thats why I went with lca's, phb, and sfc's. I have some comp eng rear shocks coming in the mail and I plan on going with qa1 drag r shocks and 175lbs springs up front. After reading alot of different opinions I feel this should be a great combo. later like next month or so ill spring for the tq arm and drag anti roll bar to complete my setup.

i agree...the stock TA is reasonably stout...by far the stock LCAs are worse.
i would do the lca, brackets and then spend $15 on a poly torque arm mount. the mount is where the most flex is on the torque arm. and it's a cheap and easy upgrade to firm up the setup.
i have the setup on my car now...never had wheelhop since it was installed

My suspension mods are kyb shocks, Eibach pro-kit springs, Energy suspension torque arm bushing, poly trans mount, complete poly bushing kit. I've heard with a lowered car I should have relocation brackets.

My 60 foots are usualy 2.1s, I pulled a 2.0 but sorta spun second too much. BTW: Honda Hunter, way to make a cool mustang.
Re: 3 mods, money for 2. lcas, torque arm, rlb
The relocation brackets and lcas will be most beneficial in reducing wheelhop, not to mention that both will run you under 200 bucks where as a good torque arm will run in the 300-400 range.
